Your wrist measurement and your bracelet size are not the same. To find your bracelet size, measure the circumference of your wrist just above the knuckle, then add the following allowance depending on how you prefer your bracelet to sit:

• Snug fit: wrist circumference plus 1.5 cm
• Comfort fit: wrist circumference plus 2 cm
• Loose fit: wrist circumference plus 3 cm

For most people, a comfort fit of around 2.5 cm added to the wrist circumference feels easiest to wear. If you don't have a tape measure to hand, wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist at the same point, mark where it meets, then lay it flat against a ruler. Alternatively, measure a bracelet you already own and use that length as your guide.

A practical example

If your wrist circumference just above the knuckle measures 16.5 cm, add 2.5 cm for a comfortable fit. Your bracelet size would be 19 cm.
