A quiet presence for someone who meant everything
If you are looking for an urn that holds a memory without demanding attention, the matte white ceramic cremation urn 'Infinity' is worth considering. Its rounded form and gold heart are calm and considered. They speak to a love that continues, expressed in a shape you can live with every day.
How this urn is made
Ceramic demands patience at every stage of production, and the process behind this urn is deliberate from start to finish. Each piece begins with a plaster mould drawn from a master design, which sets the form for the entire Infinity line. Once cast, the clay is left to dry fully before the surface is smoothed by hand. It then goes through two separate firings: the first at 900°C to harden the clay body, the second at 1,050°C after the glaze has been applied. That second firing is what gives the matte white finish its character and depth. Nothing about it is accidental.
- Cast from a master design mould and smoothed by hand after drying
- Fired twice, first at 900°C, then at 1,050°C after glazing
- Matte white surface with a gold heart as a fixed element of the design
- Compatible with or without an ash bag
The gold heart and what it carries
Gold does not fade. The heart on this urn is not an afterthought added for decoration. It is a deliberate part of the design, a reference to the bond you shared with the person you are remembering. Against the matte white surface it sits clearly, present without being insistent. You will see it every day without needing to seek it out.
Making it your own
This urn for ashes is suitable for use with or without an ash bag, so you retain full choice over how the ashes are kept. If you would like to personalise the space around it, a photograph, a handwritten card or a small object placed nearby can make the setting feel entirely your own. If you would like to add an engraving plate, that option is available when ordering, and can carry a name, a date or a short phrase.
Practical considerations for a ceramic urn
Placement and care
Ceramic is durable once fired, but it does benefit from thoughtful placement. This cremation urn is designed for indoor use only. Choose a stable, level surface away from damp areas such as bathrooms or utility rooms. The fired ceramic itself is not affected by ambient moisture, but a dry environment will preserve the glaze and matte finish for years to come. Keeping the urn on a secure surface where it cannot be knocked reduces any risk of damage. Treated carefully, both the urn and what it holds will remain as intended.
If you are unsure whether this urn is the right fit for what you have in mind, we are happy to talk it through with you at your own pace.
