Every grave lantern is manufactured from stainless steel (STST). The metal of the lamp has an invisible oxide coating; the oxide layer. When this oxide layer has spread across the entire STST surface the oxidation process is complete and the underlying metal is protected from any external factors. In addition to protecting the lantern the oxide layer also repairs damage such as scratches, which are sealed and closed again by the stainless steel layer.

For the manufacturing of the grave lanterns we only use high-grade STST 316, an alloy which can withstand attack by the elements, even by seawater.

Cemetery or grave lanterns are votive lamps containing a candle. The candle can be a real candle, a tealight or a flameless candle with perpetual LED. The light (candle) is not included, please purchase separately.
