The steel is ground in a consistent direction, so light catches the surface at different angles and gives the urn its characteristic sheen. Filling the urn

Everything needed to fill and seal the urn is included with your order. An ash bag, cable tie, cleaning cloth and adhesive lid seal are all supplied. The ash bag can be used as a funnel during filling, then sealed with the cable tie and tucked into the opening before the lid is pressed flush. If you prefer to place the ashes directly without a bag, that works equally well with this urn. The grade 316 steel and airtight seal make it well suited to either approach. Once the lid is seated correctly, it sits flush with the body of the urn. If you would rather leave the filling to a funeral director or crematorium, that is straightforward to arrange. Should the urn ever need to be reopened, the team can assist.

Built for outdoors, as long as it needs to be

Grade 316 stainless steel is used in marine and architectural applications because it holds up in exposed conditions over the long term. Rain, frost and temperature change will not affect the surface or the seal. For a tribute that will sit at a graveside through all weathers, that reliability is worth having.

Personalisation

Laser engraving is available for this urn for ashes. A computer-guided laser works directly onto the steel surface with considerable precision, and the result can be rendered in greyscale or in colour. The quality of the engraving reflects the quality of the image file you supply, so the higher the resolution, the sharper the result.
