Circles that carry what never ends

A circle has no beginning and no end. That is not a decorative choice, it is the reason this urn is called 'Circles'. If you are looking for something that speaks to a bond that does not break, this cremation urn makes that visible in its form.

Design and finish

The urn is made from grade 316 stainless steel, a higher-specification alloy than the more common grade 304. Grade 316 contains molybdenum, which gives it significantly greater resistance to corrosion, including in outdoor conditions. The matte black coating gives the urn a clean, considered look that sits well alongside modern and traditional memorials in stainless steel, glass and natural stone. The grinding direction of the steel is deliberate: it causes light to reflect differently depending on the angle, so the surface shifts subtly as the light changes around it.

Craftsmanship and lead time

This urn is made by hand in the Netherlands by specialist craftspeople using grade 316 stainless steel throughout. Hand finishing at this level takes time and precision, and that shows in the result. The standard lead time is four to six weeks, though in most cases despatch happens sooner. If you need to know the current lead time before ordering, please get in touch via the chat or by email and we will give you an accurate estimate.

Built to last, inside and out

Grade 316 stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium, nickel and molybdenum. It is fully weatherproof and suitable for year-round placement both indoors and outdoors. The seal is airtight and resistant to high tension loads, which means the ashes can be placed directly inside without an ash bag if you prefer. An ash bag is also included with the urn, and using one is worth considering if you think the ashes may need to be moved or transferred at a later point.

Practical reassurance

This urn comes with all accessories needed for filling and sealing, including double-sided sealing tape with a high-tension adhesive bond and a cleaning cloth to prepare the inner rim before sealing. The lid sits flush with the body when correctly closed. If you would rather have the crematorium or funeral director fill the urn on your behalf, that is straightforward to arrange. Should the urn ever need to be reopened, our technicians can do that for you. The urn is suitable for use with or without an ash bag. Because grade 316 stainless steel is non-porous and the closure is fully airtight, there is no risk of moisture reaching the ashes, making it one of the more practical choices for long-term outdoor placement.

Guarantee and returns

This urn carries a ten-year guarantee. That figure reflects the confidence placed in the people who make it, not a marketing formula. All memorial products also come with a 30-day return period, so you can take the time you need before committing.

Making it yours

The circle as a symbol carries its own meaning. Personalisation lets you layer your own meaning onto it, connecting the form of the urn to the particular bond you shared with the person it holds.

Laser engraving

Engraving is available on this urn for ashes, applied directly to the stainless steel surface using laser engraving. A concentrated laser beam, guided by computer, works with high precision to engrave text or imagery into the steel. The result can be rendered in greyscale or colour. Image quality matters: the higher the resolution of the file you provide, the sharper the engraved result. When you order, you will have the option to select engraving and upload your image or text directly.

Custom design

If you have something specific in mind that goes beyond a standard engraving, a fully bespoke urn can be developed with you. Send a sketch, a photograph or a reference design and we will work up a proposal. A quote follows from there, and nothing proceeds until you are happy with it.

Common questions about stainless steel urns

Can I place the ashes directly in the urn, or is an ash bag required?

Both options work with this cremation urn. The grade 316 steel body is non-porous and the airtight seal means there is no risk of moisture affecting the ashes, so placing them directly inside is entirely safe. The included ash bag is there if you want it, particularly if a future transfer of the ashes is possible.

What is covered by the guarantee?

The urn carries a ten-year guarantee backed by the craftspeople who made it. All memorial products also come with a 30-day consideration period if you change your mind after ordering.

Can I order a completely bespoke design?

Yes. If you would like a urn made to your own design, send us a sketch, photo or reference and we will develop it into a proposal with a quote attached.

If you have a question about engraving options, the current lead time or a custom design, please get in touch via the chat or send a message to our customer service team. We are happy to talk it through at whatever pace suits you.
