Rhodium-plated: what it means in practice

The bracelet is rhodium-plated. Rhodium belongs to the platinum group of metals and is harder than silver. A fine layer of rhodium gives the surface a bright, silver-white finish that sits closer to white gold or polished chrome than to ordinary silver. Unplated silver can dull and oxidise over time. The rhodium coating protects against that process, so the bracelet holds its appearance for considerably longer.

• Comfort fit: wrist circumference plus 2 cm
• Loose fit: wrist circumference plus 3 cm

For most people, a comfort fit works best. If your wrist measures 16.5 cm just above the knuckle, a comfort fit gives you a bracelet size of 18.5 cm. If you already own a bracelet that fits well, measuring that directly is the simplest approach of all.

How to take the measurement

Use a soft tape measure or a length of string. Wrap it around your wrist at the wrist bone, snug but not tight, then read off the measurement or mark the string and hold it against a ruler. The measuring point is just above the knuckle, on the side closest to your fingers.
