Losing a dog means losing a daily presence. The greeting at the door, a paw resting on your lap, a companionship that was simply there. This sculpture urn for ashes gives that memory a permanent, tangible place in your home, one that reflects the bond you shared.

Powder-coated steel, made with precision

The urn is formed from 2 mm steel and finished with an industrial powder-coating process. This is not a standard paint layer. In powder coating, negatively charged powder is applied to the steel electrostatically, then cured in an oven until it fuses into a hard, sealed surface. The result is a matt-black finish that holds up to everyday life without fading or flaking. The dog paw prints set within a heart are laser-cut directly into the steel itself, not stamped, not applied, but structurally part of the metal.

More than a cremation urn

The base holds a full volume of ashes, but it can also serve as a memory box. There is space inside for a collar, an identity tag or a small keepsake. The top of the base is intentionally left open as a display surface: room for a photograph, a tea light or a small vase. A glass ash pearl is included and hangs from the hook at the top of the sculpture. If you prefer, the hook will equally hold a piece of jewellery filled with a little of your dog's fur.

The heart within the heart

The smaller open heart inside the larger one refers to the idea of carrying someone with you always. For your dog, that translates into something concrete: the paw prints you both left, the routines that shaped your days, the memories that do not fade simply because they are no longer beside you. Pairing the sculpture with a personal object, a familiar collar or a favourite photograph, makes that symbolism something you can actually see and touch.

Practical information

The sculpture is mounted onto its base using two screws. Once filled, the urn is secured with two locking pins, with the corresponding holes laser-cut into the steel. Screws, locking pins and assembly instructions are all supplied with the urn for ashes. To clean, wipe with a soft cloth or sponge using water and a small amount of washing-up liquid. Avoid anything abrasive, which would damage the powder-coat finish and dull the surface over time.

For indoor use

This funeral urn is designed for use indoors. The powder-coat finish protects the steel well under normal living conditions, but it is not suitable for outdoor placement. Given a settled spot inside, the matt-black colour and the finish will remain stable for many years.
