Colour is added gradually, followed by a coat of varnish, then a second, then a smoothing stage, and finally a hand-polishing treatment. Each step depends on the one before it, and that discipline shows in the finished surface: deep in colour, smooth to the touch, and genuinely solid.

Glassfibre does not shatter the way ceramic can, but the lacquered surface will mark if knocked against something hard. Place the urn on a stable surface away from direct sunlight, which over time can affect the lacquer and cause the colour to shift. The urn is suitable for indoor use only. It holds the full volume of ashes and is suitable for use with or without an ash bag.
