A place that endures

Choosing a cremation urn monument involves more than a practical decision. You are looking for a place that reflects who your loved one was, and that will stand with the same quiet dignity in ten years' time as it does today. Granite offers exactly that. It is one of the hardest and most durable natural stones in the world, formed over millions of years and shaped by skilled stonemasons into a memorial built to withstand everything the weather can bring.

Natural stone with its own character

Granite is quarried worldwide and distinguished by its dense, compact structure and natural patterning. No two pieces are ever identical. The colour you choose, whether a deep black, a soft grey or a pale rose granite, shapes the whole character of the memorial. That individual quality comes from the material itself, not from any manufacturing process.

Made for the place you have in mind

This urn for ashes monument is configured entirely around your situation. You choose the form, the colour and the inscription that fits the bond you shared. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a proof for approval before anything is finalised, giving you time to review every detail at your own pace.

Personalisation and engraving

Text engraving is available and applied directly to the stone surface. If the standard dimensions do not suit your wishes or the requirements of the burial ground, alternative sizes can be arranged.

Practical and built to last

Granite requires very little maintenance and performs exceptionally well outdoors over many years. The stone does not absorb moisture, does not discolour in rain or frost and holds its surface structure through prolonged exposure. You do not need to worry about surface degradation or colour leaching.

Installation and cemetery regulations

Before ordering, it is worth speaking with your cemetery manager or local authority to confirm what is permitted at your specific burial ground. Some sites specify approved dimensions, materials or forms for memorials, and certain cemeteries require installation to be carried out by a registered local stonemason. The concrete base slab and any foundation piling beneath it are typically installed by the cemetery itself. If you are placing the memorial in a private garden, a plastic urn vault is also available, which you can install yourself without specialist help.

Approval before production

After you place your order, we send you a digital proof showing the full design and inscription. Nothing goes into production until you have reviewed and confirmed it. If you have questions about the options, the available colours or the wording, you are welcome to contact us by telephone or via the contact form and we will give you a straight answer.
