Filling and sealing the bracelet

A small screw on the underside of the heart opens the chamber for filling. The process is straightforward, and the instructions included with your order walk through each step clearly. If you would prefer not to fill the bracelet yourself, a crematorium or funeral director can usually do this for you, though there may be a charge for that service. Once filled, we recommend securing the screw with a drop of superglue or lock bond adhesive such as Bison, to ensure the closure stays firm with everyday wear.

Adjusting the fit

The bracelet can be gently and gradually shaped to fit your wrist. Take your time when doing this and work slowly, so the metal is not placed under undue pressure at any single point.

What 316 stainless steel offers for daily wear

316-grade steel does not rust or discolour under normal conditions of daily use. This is a property of the material itself: the alloy contains molybdenum, which gives it added resistance to oxidation and contact with perspiration. You can wear the bracelet through most daily activities without concern. We do recommend removing it during prolonged exposure to chlorinated or salt water, to protect the finish over time.
