If the urn is placed outside, the wax layer should be refreshed at least once every two years: apply beeswax with a cloth, allow it to absorb, then buff to finish.

Practical details

Everything needed to fill and seal the urn is supplied with it, including an ash bag and a cable tie to secure it. The bronze urn is sealed using a high-adhesion double-sided closure tape capable of bearing significant tensile force. The process is straightforward: the ash bag acts as a funnel as you fill the urn, and the cap is then pressed flush into the opening so the base sits completely flat. If you would prefer not to fill the urn yourself, any crematorium or funeral director can do this for you. Should the urn ever need to be reopened, the technical team can assist with that too.
